If they put in optional matchmaking as part of their next dlc/coment/2/whatever, then that would just be pure evil. But now you point this out, their stance seems to make a lot more sense. I'm guessing that is why they are flat out ignoring the community - the ability to overprice their next release based purely on an inclusion of matchmaking, while reducing the actual content that would have otherwise been included. Their "philosophy" is just too stupid to make any other sense.
