So should COD die? Did anyone play COD kangaroo's or AW as it's also know? Has Sledgehammer lost it?
Like they ever had it MW3 was tripe.
COD MP died for some after COD 4, MW2 or Black Ops 2 depending on opinions.
COD had its roll to play in forming the FPS genre but does it still have one now?
-
Nope. I wish they'd remaster the Mw series or blops 1, but it's cool.
-
I'll only buy a zombies only Cod nowadays.
-
Not yet, but soon, soon. It needs to drop the campaign and multiplayer and im all in.
-
This is going to be they're 13th -blam!-in' game... Thats a problem...
-
I'm split between hopes for another WaW/Blops1 type game and the horrors of futuristic CoDs.
-
One time a little kid on my bus said that Black ops was better then BF4 and it had better graphics then Battlefield *tear* I asked him why black ops was better.... his only argument.... zombies.. Hope lost... Humanz r doomed
-
I think so, it's just dragging down every other game because publishers see that and say, "I'll get [insert developer here] to make that, CoD makes millions, so can I!"
-
Maybe ghosts was horrible but AW wasn't so bad. The main problem I see that with those games, other shooters like the new halo series will (and are) becoming increasingly more like CoD
-
CoD is Activision's primo cash cow, so they're not gonna dump it anytime soon; the kids love this shit (dunno why). But yeah, it needs to die. The games industry needs to come up with some new ideas cos it's looking pretty lacklustre at the moment.
-
I don't really see where it can go. Activision reminds me of that Sparrow with the RT boost that you get from VoG (innumerable apologies for bringing Destiny into this, just bare with the analogy) Activision gets on to a franchise, pushes both triggers down to aggressively reap as much cash as they can, as quick as they can, for as long as they can, and if the sparrow starts to falter, keep pushing, when it starts flaming and parts are falling off ('parts' being used to represent players leaving the franchise as it burns) keep pushing, until it finally explodes into an undignified mess. But hey, we sure did cover a lot of ground didn't we? IMO, CoD needs to go backwards to go forwards. The best game I ever had was a Demolition on Afghan, back in MW2, where this other badass 4-man team stormed in and took out one objective within the first ten seconds, so me and my three mates aggressively defended the other objective for what felt like the longest 5 minutes ever, there was teamwork and strategy and near-misses and intense moments but we pushed through to win... Now what do we get? A twitch-shooter with absolutely 0 semblance of strategy or thought? Laced with RNG and pay-to-win bullshit? Wtf happened? So yes, now I think that CoD needs to just die with whatever dignity it can preserve

It's great game for new players. Boring for most that have played it since modern warfare.
-
It shouldn't die but ghosts and AW are so bad compared to all the others.
-
No but they should only release one once every 3~5 years instead of pumping them out and hoping for one to be good every now and then while they stroke their exo penises they bought with the money of 12 year olds.
-
If CoD is gonna die, FIFA must die aswell. (Along with most other sports games that are the same every year)
-
Nah, means I have less chance of running into annoying kids. It's for the best :)
-
When kids know what good games are
-
The last good one was blops 2 only because of the story
-
Long live Battlefield!!
-
Cod went to shit after Black Ops 1, and even that game wasn't that great. World at War remains to be the best cod game imo.
-
The kids need to be punished
-
CoD was good before but they've stretched the series for too long and its literally the same story, they just change characters, weapons, and setting. I only like the zombies but even that's getting boring
-
Yeeeeeeeessssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I think it died after world at war. Limbs flying off, more even playing field, tanks, zombies, etc. I'm talking about the multi player of course. It still has an audience though, and I'm fine with them making games. I just won't buy those games.

Why you posting so many threads bane I can't keep up ! Lol and yes it should die
