I used to want matchmaking in all activities but then I realized how much better it is without. It makes the experience more personal and you form a bond with the raid buddies.

That is why it is OPTIONAL. You can totally use the LFG sites. But let's make that a choice each guardian can have.

Well what's the difference? Why add a matchmaking mode to big activities like nightfall or raids when we already have way to find a group? I believe that the raids are special missions that are supposed to be tackled by a group of guardians working together, not a random group of 6 people who just happened ton get matched together. It takes the magic out of it so to speak. The fantastic missions will be boiled down to activities where one person is AFK half the time and 2 guys don't use their mics. Overall it all opinions. I respect the matchmaking side and understand why people want it but again I believe it takes away something special about it.

Edited by XcEvilGenius: 5/26/2015 3:26:12 AMthat is why you do not need to take part in Optional MM and continue to use the LFG sites. Optional MM no way forces you to anything so players can choose to "take away the Magic" so to speak. :) having it in game takes away a lot of time. in game: 1) click activity 2)click launch(MM does it work) 3) head to strike LFG site: 0)Enter Destiny(decide what to do) 1)open app/PC website 2)request for members 3)wait for replies(could take a few minutes)(a couple variables). 4)add each other in game(every time?) 5)head to activity 6)launch Activity what are we paying them for?we have paid 95$-100$ for destiny so far and they can not implement Optional MM witch will in no way negatively harm the game or the guardians experience because of there flawed Philosophy;does not make sense.
