Hello everyone, My name is urbansamurai845. I am a fairly casual destiny player in search of other players. I currently play all 3 classes (level 33 Titan while my Hunter and Warlock are level 30). I enjoy the game and want to get better at it, but I have no raid experience nor do I get the chance to do Nightfall on a weekly basis. I have experience with Prison of Elders thanks to some friends from another clan, but most of them are so much more ahead that it feels like they are doing all the work. I, for one, want to experience what running the raids is like for the first time. So I decided to find a clan of players who are new to the game like me, but mainly play for fun and are not uber competitive. I searched for a couple of hours and found that this to be easier said than done. Many of the higher level clans scoff at players with little to no experience with the end game activities or higher crucible battles. They want players with high level armor and the best weapons in the game, already maxed out. While there is nothing wrong with that, I am also not at that level (I don't own a gally or an icebreaker for instance, so most want give me the time of day). There are also hundreds of smaller clans who are numerous in number. They all seemed interesting but it was hard for me to choose one, especially when I only know a handful of players. I almost joined a couple of times, but something pushed me away. Maybe the group seemed too competitive or they were like my friends, were already much more powerful. It was than I realized the answer. Instead of joining a clan, I would make one of my own. So here we are. The requirements to join this new clan, Atarashi Chiheisen, are as follows: 1.) Be a casual or new player of destiny on XBOX 1. While I will allow competitive and experienced players to join, it should also be made clear that this is group for those are newer to the game or who don't always have the time to put in on the game. While I for one will always try to make the time, that is not always a guarantee. 2.) Be willing to play any game types. We will decide as a group what will tackle, but you need to be willing to work as a team. If we do not do what you want right away, we will eventually. 3.) Be friendly and mature. At the end of the day, this is just a game. We all have lives that will go on regardless how good or poor a player you are. 4.) Have fun. I am not a super amazing player. In fact, I kind of suck sometimes. However, I enjoy the game and love getting better at it. As long as you do the same, I don't care how good or poor of a player you are. So that is it for me. As for the name, I choose the name 'New Horizon' as way of describing the experience of doing new things. However, there are about a dozen groups named 'New Horizon' and I wanted to at least be unique. So being a student and future teacher of language, I decided to use the name in Japanese.
