My concern is the unexpected and apparently random teleportation of player characters from a cover position we've taken within the arena map. The teleportation special effect occurred and then my character was in a new position on the map !
This occurred to my character in one match, and in the next game I heard my team mate spitting expletives when his character was teleported into the middle of the attacking Cabal forces. This in level 32 matches.

My character also has fallen into the Treasure room well before our team achieved victory.
My team mates had to run out and die so the round could start over and we were re-grouped at the starting point.

* One Shot Kills: Definitely true for player characters attempting challenge at two levels below the attempted challenge.
As other players have commented... "you were just under leveled / and at too much of a level disadvantage."

Other players have confirmed that occasionally "the Gift" from Variks is announced.... we see the glowing light....and we rush over there to find....Nothing !

As Bungie is well aware, disconnections from their game are frequent. In Raids, players can usually re-connect with their party and even if the round is failed, the team can re-unite DURING PLAY. This is not the case with the Prison of Elders. Disconnected players CAN ONLY REJOIN if their team mates have cleared a round, or they just died and the booted player can re-join in those few moments before the round starts again. Disconnected players have a very narrow window in which to get back in. This is not very helpful. [b]Bungie, please find a way to help disconnected players to rejoin DURING PLAY....their team needs them to clear the rounds ![/b]

My assumption was that this is an unintended bug...I thought it might be a delay from Varik's "Get back in the airlock" teleportation power used between rounds. Since my comrades in Destiny are saying they believe this to be an intentional event, I reluctantly agree.
It is a real morale killer to learn that our Dungeon Masters feel the need to FORCE players out of cover as we attempt to face their challenge. This smacks of hostility, micro-management, and sadism. [b]I'm trying to play the game....using the given environment ! [/b]
The disconnection issue is really disheartening.....especially when it occurs in your last wave !

Edited by nazcorp: 6/18/2015 9:44:57 PMI have absolutely been fed up with POE. I didn't have typically any issues with POE 28 or POE 32. I have gotten to the boss on POE 34 however, over 10 times. 1. Baboons pushed buttons on the #gotbungied server once they saw we were about to kill the boss and the entire team got booted to orbit. I didn't have this happen (or any issues really) until I got to the boss fight. 2. Cabal jumps over walls in the left side and teleports (or something) right before they die. Then when they do die, they spawn w/e ammo outside where it isn't safe for anyone to go out and get the ammo; 3. All enemies freeze in place; this usually is a good thing, because it lets me move away to get ammo but then the enemies stop taking damage and therefore kind of ruins the gameplay experience. This usually happens whenever I get the boss to half or less health. Not a coincidence, IMO. 4. WAY TOO MANY vibrations/shooting at me/constantly causing me to flinch... Seriously, what is the guns the cabal have where they can shoot 199 rounds/sec at me non-stop? I know it's 34, but how about increasing their health and lessen the amount of cabal that spawns to help with server lag and make it a little more fair; 5. The whole "don't drop ammo for equipped weapon" is way too much. I have PS3 and even if I were able to stay alive for the 5 minutes cooldown without any ammo, it takes 3 minutes for my menu to load to use ammo synthesis and I am usually dead by the time the menu loads (or teleported!). I literally have run completely out of ammo on so many occasions, it is so painful and beyond annoying. 6. Unfortunately, after spending about 20 hours playing POE 34 I along with friends have had to abandon them because of how long it takes, only to have gotten SOOO close to beating the cabal boss but it being too late to stay up any longer. I get Bungie wants to promote people playing the game a lot, but this isn't the way they should do that. Edit 7. Also, how come I am behind cover and am constantly getting shot THROUGH THE TWO WALLS; 8. How can I still get shot with 100% accuracy while I am under the bridge and ducking? I have also experienced almost every other issue reported above. And honestly, I am sure that Bungie knows how hard this week's 34 was as the amount of people who successfully completed it must be internal employees only. That should probably raise a few eyebrows.

I have question marks where my weapon element should be on all three weapons. My fireteam member died and at 0:02 the timer froze and I could not revive him at all the rest of the fight. Lvl 34 PoE Qodron

Edited by Phantom139: 5/29/2015 8:01:39 PM#3 is not a bug, this is what happens when underleveled players enter an activity in which they do not belong in. As for bugs that I have seen, the random teleports is a frequent one, especially noticeable in the Hice and Cabal rooms. There's also a Qodron bug in which Qodron's Eye will only spawn with the mobs, this doesn't break the fight, but it makes it much more difficult. There's also the one where if you leave a dead person inside the room when you go back to the airlock you're in a permanent lock unless you all die, in which case you need to restart the round you just won.

Many times my team and I have spawned an one or more of the doors are open including the treasure room one (which they usually tend to fall into). You eventually get teleported back but it's s hassle of ur doing something teamwork related immediately at the start. Usually happens when u wipe and teleport back go start.

Edited by QuiscalusMajor: 5/26/2015 7:42:30 PMi've been teleported as well, it seems pretty random -- i've been away from the wall, i've been moving around, been away from the far corners. nope still teleported. another thing i've had happen is sometimes the Gift never appears, the glow will be there but when it dissipates it leaves nothing behind. i've noticed this happening when i rush toward the glow and step into it before it has the chance to disappear, though, so now i stand well away so that it has the chance to reveal itself fully.

The teleports happen if you go too deep into corners, and if the round is done and you haven't made it back to the waiting room.

Not sure, but I think that the teleportation is designed to happen. It only happens in one spot on each map (that I've encountered thus far) and it always jumps to the same place. I think this is meant to A. Get players out of sticky situations. And/or B. To help players get behind waves of attacking enemies to flank them.

If you are two levels below your enemies the snipers will always one-shot you. It has been that way in every endgame activity since the launch of Destiny. If you are a level 32 you shouldn't be doing level 34 anyway. With a single playthrough of the level 32 and one exotic you can be a level 33 anyway.

Mmmhm. The random teleporting is bewildering. Not in a corner, just about to take a kill shot and BOOM...I'm on the other side of the map. Enemies teleport too. Insane.

Nothing works very well in Destiny and if it does Bungie nerf it.

Welcome to Bungie's vision of PoE play. If you try to hold a position too long you will be teleported.

I noticed its when you get really close to the wall that I teleport so I backed off a bit no problems since.

Variks teleports any guardian not writing the battle arena into it.
