Your points aren't quite valid.
Those things are fantasy with no real world counterparts.
We don't fire Star Trek guns most of the time. Stuff like the Vex Mythoclast were left out by the OP as they are fantasy. The guns he's mentioned are modelled on real world guns, and have geometric impossibilities built into them that [i]break[/i] the fantasy, rather than adding to it.

None of the weapons in this game fire traditional ballistics, as per the handcannons as the cylinder does not hold individual rounds, instead it holds some kind of magazine or battery, and when the hammer is applied to it, fires the rounds. The examples I pointed out seem impossible from a realistic perspective right now, ever terraforming Venus? Crazy talk, right now. But who ever said that in say maybe... 500 years or so that weapons won't be able to work like they do on Destiny? There's no way to know. The impossible is impossible until proven possible, it is as it has always been.
