I could maybe accept that... if it were explained in any way by the game/grimoire.
Though you're also forgetting the fact that the cylinder does rotate in Destiny... which would be pretty pointless if your theory were true.

Also... explained by game or grimoire? Srsly? The game/grimoire doesn't explain ANYTHING about the game! Why would it bother to explain about the science behind the weapons?! Lol Silly.

The grimoir actually does a good job of explaining the game, but you have to read all of it...smh...look at all these nonwarlocks
