Well, I don't dedicate my whole day to Destiny, I only ever play maybe 2-3 hours a day and if I do get something within that time slot, I usually go through my head if I actually am gonna use it, I only ever use my vault to transfer gear from one character to another and store the keys that I don't have.

I don't play constantly either, maybe RNG has been pretty kind to me (except the bloody Fatebringer!). But I admit to being a "collector" who is loath to get rid of items - particularly as ALL the pre-HoW Vendor items are now gone away for good (as far as I know, I remember once getting and discarding a "Final Boss" sniper which was apparently pre-Dark Below, from an engram). Some make more sense than others - my Saterinne Rapier is NEVER getting dismantled for obvious reasons, but do I really *need* a full set of FWC armament? But why put a crap-ton of really awesome loot in a game if a player can only hope to own a small fraction of it at any one time? Also some of the problems are caused by stupid things....I didn't realize that you couldn't discard ammo synths until the Wolves started to prowl. At the very least they should raise the "stack" number well over 20.
