I agree with your first point, it does make it lackluster now, all the scrubs are getting it because they rely on someone else, it was never meant to be that way. As for putting a target on you in crucible, if you've got the emblem, you should be able to handle yourself even if it does, will sort the legit flawless players from the scrubs that got carried
