Reign it in, there, call of duty elitist. This is not a military simulator. This doesn't even take place in a time period that we can pinpoint, so why are you taking issue with imaginary, virtual guns that may or may not be a plausible answer in today's world? I'm sorry, did you live in the destiny universe? Do you know all of the facts? Do you know how the firing mechanisms changed between this time in game and Destiny's "present?" Because if you know these things, that would have been MUCH better context, and you could have told the Destiny community that these things don't actually work. My next question really falls on your background; are you a firearms enthusiast, or are you an firearms engineer? Do you build guns, or do you just own/look at them in magazines and gun stores? This goes beyond nit picking. Now, you're just looking for an issue. Do you take into consideration the angles at which you view the guns? Do you know of a fusion rifle that exists, right now? How about a handgun that shoots void ammunition? How about a rocket launcher that can split into smaller rockets (without exploding) that track (with discretion, and only hostile targets) an enemy? The sci-fanta-fiction here isn't meant to give you a sense of reality. You want that, find the game for me. Video games are meant to be a source of entertainment, not give the player a sense of realism, and I think that's really where you went wrong, here. You were so busy looking for something to complain about, you made yourself a target in a community just as poisonous as you're trying to be. It's a gun, in a game, that has no bearing on your day to day life. Simply; move on from it.
