Maybe, just maybe, did you realize that Destiny is a video game? Therefore not real? How many science fiction games and movies have you seen that are entirely impossible? A lot? I thought so. Also I don't believe that scout rifles (possibly some of the other weapons too) fire actual bullets. The "magazine" is actual a something like a battery pack for the rifle which fires small bursts of kinetic energy with the same impact and speed as a bullet. But that's just my theory.
