So my friends and I were impatient to wait until next week to get to a high enough level to do PoE on the highest difficulty. So we decided to do it with two level 33's and a level 34. It took us about 6 hours to get the the very end when the Xbox Live Party Servers crashed. We tried to get the party back together and one of us got disconnected due to being idle too long. When we tried to invite him, it wouldn't let him join back because we were "Too far" in the Prison of Elders. So basically, we were screwed. We couldn't beat the boss, and we quit. The sheer fact that we couldn't resume or invite our friend is pure bullshit. We spent so much time trying to finish it, and now that was all in vain. Can they add some sort of checkpoint, or at least add the ability to invite people back? At this difficulty, the Prison of Elders is pretty much as difficult, or even more difficult than a raid. It should be treated like one.

Ok, this is important. You can join back in, even when you are up to skolas. You just have to wipe and invite them as soon as you spawn back in. Once the doors open, it will say "the activity is about to end" if you try and join. Shame youbdidnt know this man. Good luck next time.

You CAN go back, when it says you are not able to join the team it isn't true: Your team needs to die once and you'll be able to join your team again...

The reason you couldn't add your friend was because the level had started. If you wipe and return to the airlock the invite restrictions are lifted.

I feel you man, just got done with lvl 35 PoE, spent hours trying to finish it, on the final boss the two guys I was playing with left, I decided to try to invite 2 more in after wiping , which makes the match joinable for 3 seconds, when they tried joining, the server instead pulled me out of PoE and placed me in their fireteam, and there I was, back in orbit, hours of gameplay, wasted,.. There's gotta be something they can do about it
