I agree, however the scout rifles could theoretically work. It would not be efficient, and forget about reliability. It could feed up and forward though. From the rear of the magazine. Not from the front, an added perk would be extra rounds from the ridiculous feed tube.

That is true, and I thought about that, but that also makes the giant mag pointless. But of course, most parts of the weapons are pointless in some way. They're not utilitarian in the slightest. To a mechanical fault, really...
