You can go to the report feature in game on there profile and put a positive or "helpful" report for them I have done this in raids before as all the reports don't have to be about negative behaviour

I did not even realize there was a positive report system even in the game. From all my experience with online games reporting has always been for negative reasons only. I will actually start using the system now!

Yeah it's a good thing to do and a nice addition to the game . I am not 100% sure what bungie does with these reports but it's go there are in the game anyway

I would have definitely done that with a couple players who first got me through my early days of raiding. Would have been nice to have known about that.
