I just completed my very first Flawless run of the Trials of Osiris less than an hour ago on my Warlock. Hadn't had any success recruiting randoms, so I post a thread on the forums begging for help from Flawless players.
A lot of random jerks gave me the usual "git gud scrub" BS, but a few guys actually said they were willing to help... and the one I ended up with? Turns out he and his friend have completed Flawless runs of the Trials of Osiris over a dozen times. Basically, after they did it on all of their characters, they went on to helping other players to complete flawless runs of the Trials; in fact, I think they went straight to helping another player right after they finished with me.
I don't know about you, but I think that is AWESOME, and incredibly selfless that these guys would spend their whole weekend just helping other players to beat Trials of Osiris. I'd give a proper shout-out to them, but there's that rule about not posting other player's gamertags on the forums...
Kudos to my new friends for helping me out. Couldn't have done it without you boys.

I have mixed feelings about these kind of people. On the one hand it's nice that they can help some people get in. On the other, they are potentially helping some people who would otherwise be incapable of getting there (fully carried). The more of these "carried" people that get there, the less exclusive and "meaningful" the lighthouse becomes. But if their helping out people that hold their own and just needed some decent teammates, that's fine.
