These guys are awesome... (Trials of Osiris)
I just completed my very first Flawless run of the Trials of Osiris less than an hour ago on my Warlock. Hadn't had any success recruiting randoms, so I post a thread on the forums begging for help from Flawless players.
A lot of random jerks gave me the usual "git gud scrub" BS, but a few guys actually said they were willing to help... and the one I ended up with? Turns out he and his friend have completed Flawless runs of the Trials of Osiris over a dozen times. Basically, after they did it on all of their characters, they went on to helping other players to complete flawless runs of the Trials; in fact, I think they went straight to helping another player right after they finished with me.
I don't know about you, but I think that is AWESOME, and incredibly selfless that these guys would spend their whole weekend just helping other players to beat Trials of Osiris. I'd give a proper shout-out to them, but there's that rule about not posting other player's gamertags on the forums...
Kudos to my new friends for helping me out. Couldn't have done it without you boys.

The way i did it is i posted on LFG asking for MLG players only (in a joking way) and surprisingly i got some beast players that ran me through trials with no buffs.

I think that's cool, good for them, and you. I'd like some help, but I don't expect it. Did you get anything good from the chest?

That's awesome. I'm looking for the Good Samaritans too. I'm not MLG but it seems like everyone I match up with is even worse than me. I need some experience in my side. Someone should create a Sherpa thread in the recruitment section for trials.

That is totally awesome, I've had little luck with the trials so far. I got enough wins to get the chest piece but beyond that... I wish I could meet some folks kind enough to do me the same. Really glad to hear there are such people out there though.

3 RepliesIt felt nice helping out 3 guys reach the Lighthouse. Did a Vault of Glass after the trials to help out some newcomers and what do you know, I finally got the Praetorian Foil after 7 months. Whoo!

well you do realise they still get chance of random loot drop per match i dont think all of them have true intentions to just help randoms unless they get something in return from the gamemode
