These guys are awesome... (Trials of Osiris)
I just completed my very first Flawless run of the Trials of Osiris less than an hour ago on my Warlock. Hadn't had any success recruiting randoms, so I post a thread on the forums begging for help from Flawless players.
A lot of random jerks gave me the usual "git gud scrub" BS, but a few guys actually said they were willing to help... and the one I ended up with? Turns out he and his friend have completed Flawless runs of the Trials of Osiris over a dozen times. Basically, after they did it on all of their characters, they went on to helping other players to complete flawless runs of the Trials; in fact, I think they went straight to helping another player right after they finished with me.
I don't know about you, but I think that is AWESOME, and incredibly selfless that these guys would spend their whole weekend just helping other players to beat Trials of Osiris. I'd give a proper shout-out to them, but there's that rule about not posting other player's gamertags on the forums...
Kudos to my new friends for helping me out. Couldn't have done it without you boys.

I'm glad you got some help. I kinda wish I could get some help too. I'm not the worst player out there definitely not the best but I average about a 1.5 kd and I carried the last two randoms I tried to play it with. I wouldn't even need amazing flawless players I just wish I could find a couple of players that could hold their own and weren't just pushovers.

I wouldn't mind helping people out either. Surprisingly I found two players on the forums right after the DLC dropped and went flawless on two of my characters with them. Good to know that not everyone on these forums are cry babies that want free access to Mercury.

1 ReplyThis is awesome, I tried posting to find some help to go through and learn. I did have some guys help me out, which was much appreciated but didn't have the same outcome. I will try again tomorrow but it is tough since all the posts are about need 34's.

I've met a lot of people willing to help others out and I've helped quite a few with raids. There are a lot of good people on the forums, you just have to wade through all the negative jerks to find them. congrats on the flawless. I'm still trying to find a group to get flawless, so far my best is 8-1.
