Can you lose a round within a match and still get access? Or do you have to win absolutely everything?

You may lose a round and still have access as long as you win every match.

I know you have to win 9 games, I was just wondering if a round loss would result in exemption. I've heard conflicting stories.

Round loss doesn't matter, as long as you win the match.
