The amazing world of gumball is actually quite humorous and cleverly written. The different cartoon styles in one scene are alas very interesting to look at and quite impressive to see how they all come together. The childish themes explored in this show hits a nostalgic feeling. The problems Gumball and Darwin face are relatable for a child and how they solve them seem to be a hyperbole of how our childish minds viewed the solutions. It also explores some cliches and tropes in TV production and makes an interesting twist on them.
Adventure Time is a very unique cartoon. Unlike most present day cartoons, follows subplots and a general storyline. Exploring difficult to discuss topics such as love, friendship and responsibility. I find the adult main ideas hidden in the colorful and interesting cartoon is very interesting.
Regular Show looks like it should have been on adult swim at times. Like Adventure Time, it follows a general plot followed by some subplots. Exploring some of the same adult themes found in adventure time in a classy, numerous way. All the characters are relatable in some way, with Mordecai being the most relatable for me.
Uncle Grandpa, is simply a stupid cartoon show. But it's so original and stupid that it's enjoyable. It's almost a joy in itself to see the sheer power Uncle Grandpa seems to have for no apparent reason and then he doesn't grasp the full capabilities of his power. And he uses them to help children with their everyday problems. Coupled that with an interesting cast (a slice of pizza, a tiger, a dinosaur and a talking bag) makes it for a fun show to turn on every so often.
These are the only watchable cartoons I see on anymore.

Adventure Times back story is actually sad. The great mushroom war they mention in the show was a major nuclear war, nearly destroying the human race. On one of the episodes, there is a hologram with earth, but a huge chunk gone. That huge chunk is Russia, and most of Europe. The Utopia underground is a nuclear bunker. Those people underground were human, however evolution took place, and turned them all to half human, half fish, because of all the water in there. In the episode where Fin faces his fear of the ocean, and they are in the underwater city, there is one building with the roof off, and there is a dead family on a couch. The city was flooded. And with the candy people, those are also human like lifeforms, but they were formed from the nuclear radiation. You can look at the wiki for Adventure Time about the great mushroom war, and there are great theories about this.
