Dear Bungie,
First let me be clear on my standing with the game, it's good, i've had plenty of hours of fun and laughter (some stress too). Right now i would rate it as a 8/10 with the stock game and both DLC's (and my opinion is consistently improving). It is a fun game, but like anything it could always use some improvements. Here is my suggestion that will add a lot of replay value.
Clan halls
Every MMO type game has them (that i know of). in my opinion one of the best models of this game mechanic comes from the game Warframe. in it you were able to invest in the initial clan hall and then cooperatively as a clan, invest in room additions like different types of hallway configurations, elevators stairs ect.
There were also the actual different room types like a personal pvp area players could use as pvp practice.
I believe such an addition would provide the players with a huge amount of replay value and give clans a true common goal to work towards something. to REALLY work together for something, raids are fine for "teamwork" but a lot of people get shafted with RNG and thus creates a certain level of demoralization. with the clan building together as a whole towards a common goal everyone will get to visually and physically benefit from the progress they make towards creating a super cool customized clan hall.
Here is my suggestion for how players can obtain room types.
1- Eva Lavante could offer some basic room blueprints the same way she offers basic shaders
2-completing special missions can earn your clan more unique room types or different styles of the "basic" rooms
3-completing end-game activities can unlock exotic room types like a trophy hall or something where we can display items like the head of Atheon for defeating him, or the ashes of Crota.
Below are some suggestions for room types
Basic room types
-main hall-upgradable through glimmer investments from the clan
-personal rooms-in here players can physically display suits of armor and weapons they have earned. as well as have access to the vault.
-assorted hallway types and other room connectors.
-pvp training arena/weapon testing range.
Exotic room types
-great halls- these more lavishly styled halls provide more room and levels to explore and balconies to look over and waterfalls or whatever.
-End game trophy hall-collect and view the remains of your toughest enemies and your greatest accomplishments.
-Grimoire library.
-Solar system map viewer-view the different locations of destiny with accompanying lore of important battles and events that took place on them.
-large personal rooms-essentially the same thing as the basic version, but like the name implies you can fit more stuff in it.
Aside from the rooms themselves there should also be props you can place inside them, like statues, trees, chairs, banners, fireplaces, tables, carpets and other assorted ornaments.
Finally if you have bothered to read my lengthy wish list there is one last request.
Customizable internal clan ranks that can be named and appointed to members at the clan leader's leisure.
options should include but not be limited to:
-clan leader
-co-leader
-recruiter
-veteran member
-member
-recruit
-mascot (if you've ever read "calvin and hobbes" you'd get the joke)
I am very much thankful for your time if you've read all this, I do enjoy destiny as a game and i simply want it to be more, as you've said yourself (or rather Deej) Destiny is always changing and expanding. Destiny is good, i want it to be great.
thanks again for your time and consideration.
