I've got three play styles on my Hunter...
1) long distance gunslinger (scout/sniper) - safest... Never going to die here. Will switch to blade dancer if medic is needed. What we do when things get serious.
2) mid-range gunslinger (pistol) need to keep those precision perks up! Attack attack attack gotta be quick or it's useless... But relatively safe and fun
3) close-range blade dancer (pistol/shotgun) I'm sorry. But it's fun as hell. blink shotgun stab to invis shotgun melee blink out and repeat. Yeah I'll die a lot... But it's fun and I won't go alone :-)
In saying that... Here's the difference: warlocks want to be tactical and win and survive and will always be serious... Hunters just want fun, but will get serious when needed.

Titans being my favorite class I am not sure why there is conflict I've always been a fan of my commanders tactics all praise zavala and also think ikora is cool but I feel hunters don't have a code just live and die by free will and for the uptight warlocks that's a bad deal
