What was your most disturbing injury?
Mine was I was playing street hockey and my stick got stuck in a rut it the road and it went straight into my d¡çk! It was bruised for 2 1/2 weeks!

1 ReplyI got bit in the face by a German Shepard and it ended up ripping off half my right cheek. Now I have little flesh and no nerves in my cheek and a huge scar :(

Full body cramp. Junior year in high school I was at a football workout in the summer and I only got one water break for a 2 hour practice in 90 degree weather. I was fine until the next day after practice. The team was in the weight room and we were wrapping up practice and all of the sudden, both of my calves start cramping at the same time. Next came my thighs, hips, obliques, arms, chest, and neck. Basically all the big muscles in my body started cramping from the bottom up. The trainer put me in the shower under cold water with all my clothes on and I kept drinking water until I couldn't drink anymore. Any time I tried to get up, the cramps would just get worse. It got to the point where I had to be carried out to my moms car to be taken to the medical clinic across the street but they couldn't do anything so they called an ambulance. On the way to the clinic I was cursing in front of my mom from the pain, something I never do. I actually shit myself from how much pain I was in. On the way to the hospital in the ambulance, the cramps stopped completely and I had to ask the driver to stop so I could piss because of all the water and IV fluid in me. I couldn't really walk the rest of the day and I had to spend a night at the hospital. I suffered from heat exhaustion and a full body cramp due to be dehydrated. To this day, I always stay hydrated when exercising because that full body cramp was the most excruciating pain I have ever felt. It was like being stabbed in all of your large muscles in your body.

When I turned the light on, there was blood all down my arms, it looked like I murdered someone

Fingers got caught in a rope swing when I was at the river. My friend was convinced they were dislocated so he proceed to 'set' them back in place by yanking on them repeatedly. [spoiler]plot twist: they weren't dislocated[/spoiler] [spoiler]He turned a hairline fracture into a full fledged break by 'fixing' them[/spoiler]

2 RepliesThe weirdest one I had was when I was watching anime all morning in bed and I got up and suddenly started feeling weird. I was walking out of my room when I fell down and hit my elbow on something and got a bruise. I kept walking and I saw everything going dark. I couldn't think very well, and I was walking around my house looking for my mom. I started randomly tapping the wall (I have no idea why, couldn't think) and than I just lied on the ground and it went away a few minutes later. A similar thing happened on an airplane when I played Nintendo too much and felt dizzy and everything was going dark. It was weird.

for me, it's a tie between the time I was at work and dropped a large piece of Lino. (Context: Lino is a thick rubbery material commonly used in Bathroom floors, due to it's waterproof qualities. the edges of Lino Sheets are also RAZOR sharp). it nearly cut off two of my fingers. and then there was the time I was little and accidentally stabbed myself in the arm with a Kitchen Knife. it nearly cut down to my bone, lots of blood etc.

Not my most disturbing but a fun one. When I was a kid there was a building site near where I lived, on the weekends we used to break into the portakabins and steal all of the cigarettes they had. One day we discovered there's 9 ft by 5 ft polystyrene sheets and we'll, we had to steal them; so we did. We eventually had about a dozen and had them all piled up under a tree, jumping out of the tree and landing on the sheets. When we went in for more I was running out of the building site and fell flat on my face, looking down I saw a plank suck to my shoe, so I stood on the plank with 1 foot and pulled the other one off, met with a shit tonne I pain and my white converse turning red I hopped (literally) home. Basically a 3/4 inch nail went right through my foot XD felt like a dumbass

(blonde moment) the one big thing i remember was when i was 4-ish and reached over the coffee table to get the milk and caused the coffee pot with freshly turkish brewed coffee to tip over and spill all over my right forearm, causing my synthetic jumper to melt onto my skin. i remember crying and mom taking me to the bathroom to run cold water over my arm. next thing i remember is sitting on my mom's lap at the doctor's, the blinds half closed and afternoon sun barely lighting the room as he started to peel the melted pullover off my arm, causing the burnt skin to come off with it and i sat there giggling cause it tickled and both doctor and mom looked at me like i was a mutant...

1 ReplyHmm hard to choose cut my right knee cap open and had the front of it dangling loosely from my leg and also got shoved on a bus must have hit something as next thing I know I'm checking my left shin to find a 2 inch hole down to the bone watching my tendons move had to have 7 injections into my leg and into the inner muscles before being stitched up...yeah that was fun.
