That's right; you should be squatting when you poo, not sitting. The reason for this is that when you squat your 'hatch' is fully open whereas when you sit it is only partly open, which makes the whole process more difficult.
I heard about this a few years ago and at the time I tried it out. And d'you know what? It was the most satisfying shit I have ever taken.
