No we can't it's been intertwined into our evolution permanently

Why can't we learn though? Why do we need to be, be like, the stubborn creatures we are? Why do we cheat ourselves and each other?

It's how we were created. We were used to build destroy and conquer to our hearts content but we abused that power and we will drive ourselves to the point of extinction with it
