"Inspired" was the key word. All the concept of space magic was influenced by star wars. The incluence isnt also just about the skills. It's about the way of the warlocks. Anyways you can see some similarities between nova bomb and force lightning. Purple bubble coming out of their hands vs. purple sticks coming out of their hands. It cant be identical or else it'll be lawsuits coming out of their hands.

Like i said, i dont think they want to get in trouble for copyrights. And bungie told it themselves in the artbook that the warlocks were inspired by jedis. And once again "inspired" was the key word. Whether you see a similarity or not, star wars did influence destiny and influence doesnt mean copy paste. The similarities lie in the concept not the specific skills. And i was joking with the sticks and bubbles comparison.

Yeah or anyone else in the SW universe. Maybe like the mandalorians since they are disciplined but still free spirited warriors
