Absolutely, without a doubt, Skywatch has became the pinnacle of Destiny PVE outside of raids!
I was just doing a QW bounty last night, when I nearly finished as a Warsat landed on the opposite side of the field! So then I had to defend a Warsat while fighting off Urzok and his crazy ass Crota Minions!
And the best thing about Skywatch is people are practically always there! So I ended up fighting the damned servitor, Urzok, and Defending a Warsat with 2 other people!
Edit: What new features would you like to see in Destiny's patrol system? Some people have suggested a "Hard Mode" patrol, which i believe would be neat!
Three things I'd like to have would be:
• An emphasis on Survival
• More dynamic "Mini" public events like the ones in Skywatch
• A more "open" map. I hate that there's really only one route to get to a location, make Patrol more accessible! I.e Skywatch is a great example btw

Edited by TeKnoVKNG23: 5/17/2015 3:03:31 PMI really hope they keep the Queen's Wrath events around in zone even after the DLC comes out. One of the huge things I enjoyed about Guild Wars 2 and Rift 2 were the constant in zone PVE events whether it was something simple like tracking down a boss to kill or a giant multi-stage public event that culminated with the arrival of a massive world boss that took 20-30 people to bring down. I hope these types of events start to occur on other planets. I know we have a bounty on the Moon and Venus, but those planets are so empty and lifeless. Don't even get me started on Mars. I hate patrolling most of those areas because they are so large but lifeless. The bounties on Earth have really given a lot of life to the zones and they should stay. Now all they need to do is add in a Giant Monster event. How about a raid boss level Shank that drops down out of the sky and takes several fire teams to bring down, lol
