The whole thing is kind of pointless. Most people know about the whole origin story. It's well produced, but those who know about the Spartan program nonsense probably aren't as affected by the whole 'mystery' stuff.

Given the number of people stumped by Halo 4's story I doubt that many people have a proper grasp of any lore or even origin of most things in the Haloverse.

Is it really most people? Regardless of how many people know, I obviously know the whole truth better than most, but I am still incredibly enthralled. Why? We've never seen a civilian perspective of the Halo universe, not just that, it's entertaining to hear the propaganda, and see how the truth comes out. Not just that, but if you've been keeping up, it's more than just about finding the truth about John.
