Shoulder charge can easily be countered with a well-times shotgun shot dude. I used to be the same way and wished it was nerfed, but I literally never get shoulder charged anymore because I keep my distance and even if I'm shoulder charged at, I kill them mid-animation and it's the best feeling ever.
You ever kill a Titan mid fist of havoc with a throwing knife? Now that's an awesome feeling too
