So I understand fist of panic is popular, I understand it, I do it sometimes, but I try not to. My question is, why aren't there equal complaints about the nova panic. From the games I've been showing, it comes up......a lot
Edit: thank you for the feedback and the fairly stable discussions, however, a lot of different arguments tend to be a bit similar
-
You have a lot more time to react with a nova bomb in my opinion whereas fist of panic I just roll my eyes and get smashed into oblivion
-
Panic Bubble!!!! Eh!?! Ehhhh!?! Anyone???? Okay I'll shut up......
-
If I see a blade dancer, best believe he's gonna see my panic fists go 0-100 real fuggin quick
-
Takes longer to cast and its easier to dodge, hence why it doesn't get at much hate. Also, you can't dodge panic fists with jumping up high because it kills you out of the air for some reason.
-
One of the reasons why I don't play Striker anymore in pvp is from the stupid hate "ur bad fist ov panc kil urself" messages when I quadruple kill a heavy ammo group. The other, much larger reason is Magnetic grenades.
-
You can also kill yourself with the nova bomb.
-
Nova panic? You can just blink past the nova bomb
-
I never use nova in a panic situation just die, it's so much better used killing the whole team at heavy ammo or to kill off pesky Titan bubbles. The only time it's acceptable to hit in panic is bladedancers as this can save your team from being murdered.
-
Panic golden gun? Man I've collected so much golden tears man...
-
How about Armor Piercing Bullet of Panic? That's the worse!!!!! Why use that AP bullet for just one kill? If you can't line up the opposing players and headshot multiple people at once you are a SCRUB! Using it to kill only one player at a time is ridiculous! Get good!!!!

I get panic bombed more than fist of panic.

Edited by Reclaimer: 5/15/2015 5:22:18 AMop is fgt OT: Panic Supering is stupid, and a good way to waste a super most of the time. Golden Gun/Arc Blade are pure offensive supers meant for slaying. Ward of Dawn is defensive support. Radiance is a little defensive and offensive. Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb were made to me super-killers; to completely wipe those who use the above off the face of the planet when they try them. Hardly anybody uses them like that. "Did that queer just look at me?" -Titan smashes at a target 20 feet away- -target waves -snipes the Titan -waves again

Haters gonna hate.

Fist kills everything in its radius, even if its behind a wall or a decent bit above the impact site, heck, even if its above them through a floor. Nova does as well, but as other people pointed out, you can kill yourself with nova bomb, you can't with fist, and Nova takes much longer to fully fire, and fist gives ridiculous damage resistance, even without the perk. I've seen a titan use their fist because I stuck them, and they didn't even kill me cause I was far enough away, completely wasted just to survive a grenade and have me kill them a second later. Melee, fist, shoot them with one bullet from an AR, fist. There are panic nova's, but generally it happens far less than with titans, and a lot of times you can still kill them, either before launch or at least take them with you.

Panic Bomb*
-
Fist of Panic lol
-
Nova bomb takes more skill than the panic fisting.
-
You have to aim with Nova Bomb, you can kill yourself with it, and you don't have a perk that allows you to survive a golden gun shot when using it. Bitch, you only have a lvl 10 Warlock so stfu
-
Fist of Havoc is called Fist of Panic because it can kill anyone around you and the animation is very short. You have to aim Nova Bomb.
-
It's called panic bomb
-
Because a nova bomb can't hit people directly behind you and you can be killed when using a nova bomb. Titans can be invincible
-
The nova bomb is less suited to panic activation imo. You have to aim it and plan where you want it, or else you 1. Miss entirely 2. Kill yourself when hitting a wall
-
To me it seems like titans do it more often than warlocks
