Dear Bungie, I have been looking at going for a career in video game design and I am currently looking for a school to go to that tailors specifically about this kind of work. I would love and appreciate it if any Bungie team members could give me some first hand insight into the gaming industry. Anybody else who works in the gaming industry's impute would be greatly appreciated too. A few things I want to know: What schools do you guys recommend? What schools do you hire most from? What's it really like for someone fresh out of school finding a job in this industry? What's it really like working in a game development studio? What is the atmosphere like? What kind of profession do developers look for? what's it like being an indie game developer? I just want to know if this is a wise career choice, or if I'm digging myself into a ditch. I want to hear what it's like from people who actually work in this wonderful industry, not from schools who are just trying to acquire my money. Thank you to anyone who replies, I appreciate any help I receive on the beginning of this wonderful journey. Cheers!
Edit: I live in California, I'm 18 and I have a GED. I'm looking for a good school to learn game design and hopefully get hired by a great developer or become my own developer.
