Prison of Elders (best weapon)
I am curious as to what the community thinks will be the (new) best weapon for the Prison of Elders
Edit: I decided to upgrade my fatebringer, I highly recommend it. I might upgrade VoC next

2 RepliesI think timepiece and VoC would be great choices for primaries. They have field scout and elemental damage. I think shotguns and fusions rifles will be better then snipers. Rockets and heavy machine guns will be handy.

i see a lot of answers and I am kinda missing the part where someone is pointing out that you can ascend all your exotics which will deal the most damage which is probably what you want when you and your team are going against higher level enemies.

Impossible to answer accurately, enemy races are picked at random not to mention modifiers

Fatebringer, any elemental primary your comfortable using. Shotguns for the small area that your confined to. Unless it's a boss battle in there. And g horn or heavy machine guns

6 RepliesThere's not going to be a specific gun that rules over all in PoE. Of course gjallarhorn is gjallarhorn and you should have it equipped 24/7 but there's different shield bosses you have to face and buff that's could give bonus or less damage on a certain elemental. I'm probably going to go all fire elemental for cabal (gjallarhorn, fire shotgun, and voc) for hive, (fatebringer, arc shotgun and thunderlord) for fallen same as above except with gjallarhorn) and for vex (fate bringer, swordbreaker and gjallarhorn

All the usual PvE staples. It's not new enemies, just new rooms, after all. So... Fatebringer Fang Vision Icebreaker Black Hammer (maybe) Any shotgun you like Ghorn Any machine gun you like

Fatebringer, gally, vex, voc, ice breaker, black hammer, hunger of crota, fang, word, light of abyss, predyths, over soul edict, corrective measure. These will all be invaluable as they all have a burn and can be set up so that each slot have a different burn
