Ok I've seen a lot of gjallahorn posts today about xur selling it. I hate to burst people's bubble but some of us will NEVER EVER GET IT. Everyone has their own personal loot tables and some people like myself can't earn it because it's simply not there to drop. Same reason I never get the pocket infinity or sga. Those bounties are not meant to be for me. Everyone has that one weapon (or weapons in my case) they can't get even if it's not gally. But those people are stupid because xur has sold everything else. They easily could have gotten their weapons by now. Including thunderlord. (another weapon I don't have until now) The same is not true for gjallahorn though. Even though xur did sell it once, I actually have a life and couldn't grind out to level 30 in under a week after launch to buy it from him. The same is true for a lot of players out there. There was just no way I was gonna grind out 3 characters in time for that. Now because I didn't do that that means my weapon collection should remain incomplete? No it shouldn't and this is why xur needs to sell it. I shouldn't have to make a new Xbox live account to get a gun in this game. This is absolutely the worst reward system designed ever. Now I'm trying really hard not to sound like a whiney b***h but unless you know the struggle you just don't understand. I love this game and there are plenty of other exotics to use and I do use them but getting people on lfg has never been harder for me lately and it's all because of gjallahorn. Can I do crota without gjallahorn? Absolutely I've done it several times already. But lfg scrubs don't give a damn and I just think that's bs. They want to finish faster. Well I want to start the raid faster. Takes me well over an hour to assemble a team sometimes which is ridiculous. All I'm asking for is that bungie fixes our loot tables so that everyone has a fair chance of getting it. And to those who say I do have a chance already, you're wrong because if that were true, not only would I have gally, but sga and pocket infinity would dropped for me as well. I've gotten 8 missives now and it's always thorn, invective and bad juju every single time. I guess when the patch comes out, maybe I'll get it then since I'm usually one of the top 3 players in crucible but damn that's a long time to take to get a weapon. To the people who will attack me for this, go f yourselves, I know what's going on here. I know what rng is. But the rng doesn't work if certain things are missing from people's loot tables. Edit 1: seems a lot of people think I need to slave away at this game for thousands upon thousands of hours. I played this game more than skyrim (which had about 300+ hours in it) let me tell you why I don't need over 1000 hours. It's simple. Christmas noobs. They have all gotten the gjallahorn right away so why do I need to put in an unrealistic amount of work for this? That said, I still have put in a decent chunk of time into this game. I've done everything there is to do (minus how). But at least when the patch comes out, crucible will be worth playing again. Edit 2: thanks for the replys but now I really don't care anymore. With bungie patching the rng and crucible, I actually have a fair chance at getting it. To those who say my grimoire is not high enough. First of all grimoire is a joke. It's a placeholder for the story in the game and by no means a validation method of how much I play this game. Just because I gotta play crucible a whole bunch to get bonuses that don't really benefit me a whole lot doesn't mean I don't play enough. I do play crucible but it gets frustrating from time to time especially when the noob with the .07 kd gets the gally. What kind of message is that supposed to send?
