When doing PVE missions with a group of friends I sometimes notice heavy ammo will drop in waves. So in one area 3-6+ boxes may drop. In order to capitalize on the ammo dropping, which is either feast or famine, you have to act upon it by spending what you have or risk your life to get what is available.
I have come up with a few different methods of handling this excess ammo that may prove useful to all PVE people. I doubt these would ever be considered as valid ideas but thought I would share anyways.
Ammo Synthesis
It would be interesting if excess heavy ammo packs picked up would turn into 1/4 or 1/6th of an ammo synthesis and if you pick up enough it turns into a full synthesis. If not enough are picked up then they are lost on mission wipe/completion.
Excess Ammo Queue
Another option is to have an ammo queue for the mission, per person, that is only available in that mission and resets on wipe/completion of the mission. Packs picked up towards this queue are essentially 1/2 to 1/4 of the full pack they normally would be. If you run out of ammo in normal reserves and there is enough in the queue it would go into your reserves.
Shared Excess Ammo queue
Same as the previous idea but shared among the group rather than the individual.
Flame on!
**EDIT** Corrected typos. (que to queue)

I spam rockets at anything and everything that moves when extra heavy drops. It can be a lone thrall for all I care. Lol.

You have any idea how many synths I would have? Let's just say there wouldn't be room in my Titans ship, pockets, backpack, buggy, wheelbarrow, cargo pockets, sled... Nothing. So many synths.

None. Just leave it be.

None of these. The ammo is fine the way it is

What's a que?
