So, last december I decided to go out and finally buy myself a Xbox one. To finally be up to date with brand new games and my friends. However, when september rolled around and Destiny was released, I didn't have a choice and bought the limited edition for the xbox 360 because I didn't own a one at the time.
After taking a bit of a break from destiny which lasted around 2-3 months, I decided to finally load up my characters once again and I thought about buying the Xbox one version of destiny, but am totally unsure if it is really worth it or not and if it would be a waste of money. What do you guys think?
Side Question: All my achievements I earned, do I get them when I play destiny on Xbox one, or would I have to go earn them again?
Thanks!

You don't keep your achievements but you can earn them back and double you gamer score if you care about that
-
You'll keep all your achievements and characters and everything you have, you'll just have to purchase a copy of destiny again
-
I'm thinking of doing it too. Might wait till after dlc though since my cousin is still on 360. Maybe I'll upgrade for comet/King dlc
-
I own a ps4 and I honestly believe xbox is a great console, however if you're upgrading I wouldn't get destiny, I know all exclusives will be available for xbox but not yet, I'd go with titanfall or cod perhaps, something in which you can enjoy stuff only available on xbox, that's just my opinion

You can buy Destiny used for a cheap price online or at (sighs) GameStop.
-
You don't have to re-do anything, all your data gets transferred over
-
Do it, its currently $30 to buy digitally, and i believe $45 for the Digital Guardian Edition digitally. You will have the achievements from your 360 version, and will be able to earn them all again on the One version.

Do it! I upgraded last month to Xbox one. Do you remember the first time you watched a DVD after watching VHS for years, same difference. It's a huge improvement.
-
I got my X1 at the end of October (got the white sunset overdrive one) and didn't get my X1 copy till December, but I don't even play my 360 copy anymore. Once you upgrade, you really won't want to go back.

Don't do it if it's a Xbox one
-
As a last gen player... Do it! You're being held back so much! Be free!
-
Do it man
-
Xbox 360 destiny accounts can move to Xbox Ones and PS3 accounts can go to PS4. So as long as you don't switch brands, you are fine.
-
You could probably find a cheap second hand copy and everything transfers over.
-
Do it!!!!
-
So worth it. My cousin plays his on my 360 sometimes and it looks so bad compared to my Xbox one version.

You still have everything on the xbox one that you had achieved on the 360 so as long as you sign in with the same profile everything gets transferred :)
