You realize that Genesis is a Creation STORY. Right? You can't quote something that hasn't happened and then proceed to state it as a fact.

Are you sure it's not you? I mean after all you're quoting a story... Not a fact... Not to mention that there is much evidence to point that evolution is a fact...

When it comes to interpreting a specific passage as literal, do so literally. When it apparently comes to understanding a metaphoric text, use the context clues surrounding the sentence to understand what that passage implies.
