I couldn't care less what the dude looks like just that it's clear that it's the same guy as in FUD. Cortana Halo 4 was bar far the best aesthetically imho but then for some unknown reason they used someone else for Halo 2 Anniversary cinematics? I can't really fault 343 for tying up the lore/canon whatever you want to call it but some more consistency would be good. [spoiler]LoA has pointed a few issues with it in HTT but they tell better stories at 343 than Bungie ever did. #inb4thehate[/spoiler]

It makes since oni likes really smart people and he could hack them so instead of killing him they gave him a job besides it's been 20 some odd years since we saw him so who knows what happened to him but what do you think happened?

Very much so. Episode 07 was absolutely killer. Really the only thing I don't like is how the Outer Colonies still exist. Up until now, all lore says the Outer Colonies were completely destroyed by the Covenant.
