Bigger PvP maps instead of weapon nerfs.

You all should be asking for bigger, more open maps instead of weapon nerfs. I have never played a single game of PvP but I hear players complaining about map size being too small. Maybe bigger maps would be a better option than nerfing every weapon that players feel are OP. Halo had great maps that required all ranges of weapon types. You should be crying for better maps not weapon nerfs. There was a great map in the original Halo that got recycled and redesigned in the sequels, Blood Gulch. It was a huge, open map that also had several areas where shotguns were King. There were these small cave-like tunnels on the borders where one wrong move got you a shotgun slug to the chest. Its openness allowed for greater use of rifles. While the game types like CTF, also incorporated the mid-range weapons. It also had tons of vehicles which made rocket launchers an important weapon type. Man, that was a great map. Sidewinder was another excellent map that was perfect for all weapon types despite it being a very large map. Shit that game had some great maps. TL;DR - Bigger maps, no nerfing. Halo maps were awesome.

  • Oh we had big maps. They were just removed from the rotation of every game mode... Smh

  • Bigger maps were not well received probably because most use shot guns and they get killed while running brainlessly towards an enemy in order to get in range. For my taste there are still too many special ammo drops and I would love to see a game mode where shot guns are not allowed. This would make a lot of people happy because people could actually choose.

  • Agreed bigger maps, everything is mid to close combat and with almost everything 1 shot makes engagements one sided

Here is the problem with Bungie/Activision: They listen to the nerf cries more because they're easier to hear, appeal to and fix for a brief amount of time. Whereas those of us that ask for substantial changes, provide details and that can last for a long time are hard to get imprinted... then again the stuff that we ask for in detail is no small task, so of course they'll listen to number and stat nerfs because they're far easier to implement.

  • Do not disagree, also, I have had ideas, for a massively large map (or well just large)...er uhm..... Should have multitude of maps, current large maps have many areas and tunnels making nice use of shorter range weapons, ok, how about some large maps with few short range favoring spots, and reversed, a large map thats more like a maze (that one would be hell with inferno, no scouting locations @_@)
