Hello fellow guardians! I've made this poll because there have been other[b] theatre mode[/b] related polls in the past but they have since disappeared which I believe to be a shame because Bungie won't be able to see them. So this is basically a poll to bump this post further up the list for a possible instalment for Destiny Comet or future releases. I imagine that many people who play Destiny and who are fans of Bungie's work will have played Halo at some point in their life. They're fantastic games and I hope 434 industries continues to do them justice and continue the fantastic work that Bungie started. I fully understand that Bungie want to start Destiny as a brand new game and not be referred to as the cousin spawn of Halo. Bearing this in mind, you can understand why some features were left out of Destiny. Currently, you can see that Bungie are able to take screenshots and make videos of Destiny gameplay from all kinds of angles and views that are different from the standard 1st person (or 3rd person if doing a super) view. This suggests that a theatre mode exists (possibly for developer and promotional purposes). I am aware of the Xbox One recording functionality (even with the additional and snazzy double home button click for easy access) but it is not practical to use when in the middle of a fight and there are bullets flying everywhere. The theatre mode functionality from Halo would be an amazing tool to capture your favourite moments from the game, whether awesome or embarrassing. The ability to leave the first person and 3rd person view in order to take screenshots or have cinematic panning would be mind blowing (and to be honest, it is still mind blowing in Halo). Bungie have a long and colourful plan for Destiny and I really hope that this concept has been thought about. Thanks for your time. Tido xx
