From this point forward, I will be calling those heartless souls, the very scum of Hades, those irreverant epitomes of selfishness, the ones who crawled out of cess pools in the deepest, shittiest shit holes... the ones who snatch heavy ammo even when there are no red blips on the tracker, even when half the team is just meters away, snatchers.
Evil needs a label.
It's interesting to me to witness what seems to be a slight majority in Crucible snatch heavy ammo even when the context does not beg the action, yet see the vast majority on forums complain about it. So seeing as how nobody can possibly know what you voted for, be honest.

Edited by MagikSkull: 5/30/2015 2:21:18 AMI'll snatch the other teams heavy in a heartbeat if possible. It's so rewarding to snatch it from them. Even if they kill me, it's a win because they only got one kill as opposed to many kills of my team members. But that is the only acceptable snatching. I always wait for me team or red blips.
-
I wait until: -I see red on the radar -I realize no one is coming -I don't wait if my team sucks -an idiot messes up a Jump/Blink (most commonly on Blind Watch) -I don't wait if I know there are snipers (aka combined arms)
-
If it's being a snatcher when your teammates aren't making any attempt to get it, then yes. Which happens quite often in skirmish actually.
-
Il wait till the last safe second to lift it. If I'm surrounded by red I will take it.
-
Relatable as hell
-
I waited too long today, and paid the price! there is a happy medium! I also snatched it up from a group that denied me the first time, only to have MY OWN TEAM blade dance into me while shooting a rocket... I guess that is what I get for playing with match-making. If you are with a group who doesn't know any better, just go try to spoil the enemy's drop!
-
Next time, don't run for the opposite heavy, the other team is clearly there, and I won't wait for you to get back. (To whom it may concern)
-
To those 13% -blam!- you, just chill for 5 more seconds and at least look to see if someone is just out of range. So tired of guarding the heavy that you come and selfishly steal.
-
I wait until I see red on my radar then I give it 3-5 more seconds depending on how fast they're coming, if you aren't there by then, it's mine.
-
Only time I pull solo is when I'm the only person on my team who's positive, the others on my team in that situation will just rush blindly with rockets and feed kills to the enemy. Otherwise I settle down, start a campfire, and brew coco.
-
If I make it to heavy ammo, it's not my fault you aren't there. Snatcher confirmed.
-
I can wait, but you have 15 seconds to get there.... Hurry up!
-
The only time I will snatch is when my radar gets really red really fast.
-
If people are taking their sweet ass time, I'm grabbing it. Put some pep in that step, we all have the same heads up on heavy
-
No, but if I see red I am grabbing that bitch. Not letting them control the drops completely
-
I only snatch if my team is at the other heavy spawn.
-
Be there when it arrives, there is a count down after all. Otherwise I'm snatching that shit!!
-
I'll wait sometimes, but I've always preferred a quick grab than sitting and waiting when I'm queuing alone. Ain't nobody got time for that.
-
Ive noticed I am sniping I will snatch on instinct just to get a kill
-
I don't do that to my team or the enemy team like some little wimpy hunter that had gone invisible to try and sneak the enemy's heavy ammo. Only for a Titan to come and shove some thorns into his butt.
-
I don't snatch. But I do snatches.
-
If I see teammates near, sure, but if they aren't anywhere near me, it's all mine
-
I watched a guy troll our entire team. 5 of us were running as a group to the ammo drop and he got there ahead of us and took it...... Then proceeded to dance and shoot the ground and kill himself.
NOT IMPRESSED
Snatches get scratches...
amidoingitright?
Watched somebody grab heavy ammo by himself while whole team was running for it, then he goes and dies immediately... Twice
*facepalm
