The sidearm Vestian Dynasty
Since the twitch reveal of the Vestian Dynasty I have wondered if it is simply a story reward for a unique legendary weapon or have they made a true new weapon class. If it is a true new special weapon will vault of glass and crota's end gain their own sidearm class weapon. I hope this is so

Loving this gun, have been craving fatebringer since day 1, I think I have found the little feisty brother, this thing wreaked in the nightfall!

It's a new weapon type. They are weaker, have low impact, high stability, high fire rate. Seems to be used more like sidearm in other games, where you switch to them when you are out of ammo or just need to get a few good shots off. There's even one exotic one that has the look of a shock pistol. An innate ability of sidearms seems to be that you always spawn with ammo for them. I wonder how that will affect how people use them (if at all).
