This is quite ironic considering the reason bungie nerfed auto rifles was partly because people moaned on the forums and that they was the most used guns since the beta. I am sure they will bring auto rifles back to usable level but they wanted people to use the other guns available which is what is currently happening.
But it should be the choice of the user what gun they use rather than because all the other guns have been nerfed into the ground.

I loved auto rifles people cried for it to be nerfed now they want it back? Please make up your minds or just stop complaining and actually be good at the game. I for one didn't not vote to need the AR's but I sure as hell had to adapt to other dumb weapons that I hate. So please I say again be careful what you wish for

Auto rifles man I still love my trusty Vanquisher but just wish it still was viable :-(

Yeah me 2 man I'll be happy if I can use my Vanquisher without being at a disadvantage

It's all because of people in the iron banner because everyone complained about suros after one of the iron banners and then it was watch soon thorn will be nerfed because that's what everyone complains about because they can't realize it's one of the most effective crucible weapons

Yeah I saw all the Suros posts on the forum, but it was the best gun at that point. Bungie don't seem to be able to get balance with their weapons which is a shame because you should be able to go into crucible with your favourite gun and not the obvious best 2 guns which are The Last Word & Thorn currently

Exactly they just need to find the balance between all the weapons so they all have fairly equal TTK
