For all of you who are asking "How do i get an Exotic" The answer is actually quite simple, there are about five or more ways to get an Exotic, The Easiest is probably doing Bounties until you get an exotic bountie... i got my first when i was level 27 and after that they just piled up, i got the Invective and Bad JuJu, but doing them isn't so straight forward so i recommened checking out some forums about Exotic bounties before you try to get one, so you can understand them a bit easier, the second way is probably saving up strange coins till Xûr comes around, which i would recommend doing nightfalls,Weekly Strikes and Heroics till you gather up a good amount... or if you struggle with any of those things just try doing the vanguard playlist or some Cruicable, you will get some eventually. now the third easiest way is proabably exotic chests which are found throught raids (if you want a tutorial just look one up on youtube, there's plenty) but there is not a 100% chance you will get one so keep that in mind you can only open the chests once a day and im guessing that its unlikely you will get one but the hard part is getting to the chests. Now for the fourth Easiest way to get an exotic is simply by doing Raids if you are level 30 and play VOG on normal i would seriously recommend gathering a good secure FireTeam and going to do the VOG on hard... don't shy away from it, yes it will take a few tries but its worth it, you have a low chance of getting an exotic from the Templar but a nice good chance to get some legendarys with Extra Oracle Damage so its worth the fight... but the true Exotic dropper is Atheon, in my last Topic it tells you how i got four exotics all in one day so check that out if your curious. And... Last but not least... Nightfalls they is a low chance you will get anything but legendarys but i got The Thunderlord so it isnt all that hard at all, if you do them weekly you are bound to get an exotic, my last topic also tells you about that. So think of Drops like a virtual Dice and this Dice has four sides just like the raritys: Common (White),Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Legendary (Purple) and finally Exotic (Gold) for example white has a 5 over 5 chance because it probably has something like a 95% drop so it wont be included but uncommon has a 4 over 4 drop rate because it probably has a 85-90% drop rate depending on your Cryptarch Rank, Rare is a 3 over 4 chance so probably around a 65-75% drop rate also depends on your Cryptarch Rank, Legendary is a 2 over 4 chance so 45-50% drop rate and finally Exotic a very low drop rate of 1 over 4 so a 1-15% drop rate which is extreamly low, and those are probably the chances you will get them as a drop from monsters... well i hope this Helped.
