So... vault space. Are we really expected to do raids for raid gear, find exotics, and now be upgrading old legendaries and rerolling the new ones all in our tiny vaults? I mean, I know I'm not the only one that filled the vault immediately after the last patch and that was just by making some room on my characters so they could pick up the odd engram. I still have sh*t in my postmaster I don't want to grab because I'd immediately be out of room. Are they trying to make app transfers so easy that we should only keep one of each gun?
We've got a new dlc coming with a host of new gear. Where are we going to put it? Should I just junk guns that have some much speculation and potential around them like the Khostov, or the stranger's rifle; only to be told in an upcoming patch that those guns will be made into leg/exo? Just like all the old 300 guns we can now ascend through their terrible new plan for endgame. I've seen all the comments from people wishing they didn't trash their shadow price or fatebringer or whatever. This doesn't make any goddamn sense.
Now I know, they blame last gen for it. They say they can't make it bigger. But then they turn around and say keep all your old gear? WTF
People are also saying this could be an issue for PoE, having to constantly switch guns and damage types for modifiers. That's why my characters run full already! To be prepared for the sh*t! But if I were to only have one of each gun, I couldn't do that. Or every time I wanted to play the game I'd have to spend 20 minutes swapping loadouts from one character to another.
How are YOU handling all the gear and planning for the future? I sure as hell don't know what to do at this point.
-EDIT-
To those wanting a poll, you can't edit in a poll. Polls are always biased anyways, and I for one prefer actual conversation over faceless votes.

Ha no. I filled mine up within an hour of bungie upgrading it. They need to add another page to each section or at the very least increase the amount of items each character can hold.
-
If you get a gun/armor and you don't use it over the course of a month, then you probably never will. Delete it and move on. I just deleted an exotic helmet because it doesn't match my play style. Why hang on to it?
-
Another increase in space would be much appreciated
-
Oh hi there
-
Definitely need more categories or more space. Preferably both.
-
-
I think the way the Vault is currently organized is stupid. I want banks like WoW or Runescape, or every other MMO. I want to have universal bank slots. I also want to be able to buy more bank slots with glimmer(come on, that would make everyone's life so much easier.)
-
No, i hope reef has a seperate vault which i would be satisfied with
-
It could be a bit bigger for the HoW but I guess I have 10 rare fusions in there for a 362 pocket infinity
-
The ladies never complain about MY vault size. Sounds like a personal problem.
-
I feel they added just enough. I mean, they have a point. As an end game player I'm not really using all of my vault space, and the space they added I feel is just enough for me. I can't speak for others of course.
-
Didn't actually read the post, but the title made me lolz. It reminds me of a Viagra pitch or even one of those lude spam emails. Baha
-
I wish it was waaay bigger, especially since we have new dlc out here soon. Also more dlc later in the year, im gona run out of room spoo fast :/
-
I'm good one weapon space for the time being (although this dlc is bringing in quite a bit), but I would like more armor space.
-
You guys are so lost. "I need 3 sets of every burn on every gun category, with 3 sets of all exotics, raid weaponry, and maybe a few cool looking guns for fun." 1 of every exotic, 1 of every raid weapon, and class specific guns on chars...that is much less than what the vault can hold.
-
It's not the size of the vault but how you fill it that counts.
-
I own every exotic but 3 and all raid weapons and have 2 characters with more then half their inventory full and the other is full. My vault sits at 22/36 for weapons. So I think it's a great size.
-
I need more space for armor
-
I could use an extra 4-8 spots on each part of the vault. That would be nice.
-
For now it's ok. But if I continue to play, I foresee issues in the future. Definitely around Destiny 2.
-
Edited by Saxifraga: 5/10/2015 10:37:00 PMNo, the vault is to small. But if they can't make it bigger, at least each character should have 5x5 slots for each category instead of 3x3.
-
I'm ok with the vault size. I just want more inventory space.
-
My weapon vault is empty. I keep my gear on-hand, so I can use it as a weapon and not a trophy. Vault space is irrelevant.

Completely agree, I spent time maxing out 3 gjallas, ibreakers, hammers, fb, mythos, etc etc, so i wouldnt have to spend so long switching, my characters and vault and postmatter are bursting at the seems, n now i have to scrap stuff just to get new stuff, which ive done before over n over. The vault shouldnt be a grind, xbox 360 and 1 dont play on the same servers and arent cross plat's, so why they cant apply a seperate small tabbed version of the vault like so many spoof videos have showed is just ridiculous, they got all their guys working on ways to get more $$$ outta us. So we were lucky to get the increase we did i guess. There initial reaction when the game launched was "we didnt expect that players would want to collect loot) I mean c'mon just simplify it, if they want us to start making the new guns our primary go to and leave our old one's behind, how about they actually make some that mmmmm better? I mean peeps r still running Fatebringers, voc's, icebreakers, mythos and gjallas. N yh sure u switch up on occasion n involve the hammer and a couple more from TDB. But when there droppin shit like necro NLB and DB, why would anyone leave the older stuff behind, made even more so now with the ability to increase there damage.

Edited by ShamWowEnthusiast: 5/10/2015 8:54:25 PMOk first off not sure if you do this or not but you only need 1 of each exotic so you can keep space and there is no need for multiple ones. Also you can store gear in your character and put other gear on other characters to make even more room.
-
I completely agree with you, I like to have multiple of my good weapons to avoid the constant swapping but with the vault space the size it is now I have next to no room left
