You're just bad. Or you're running the wrong perks and play style. I don't run shoulder charge. I use "harder to kill while using fist of havoc", sprinting increases the leap distance of fist of havoc", aftermath, and I spec armor and agility. I use flashbang grenades with the armamentarium. Stay back and shoot with thorn while chucking the occasional grenade. Only fools rush in. I prefer my titan to my warlock. I find the warlock to be the weakest.
