Look what happens when you have matchmaking.
Paired up with noobs
Paired up with players with terrible weapons and gear
Paired up with afkers
Paired up with under levelled players
Matchmaking is added in every activities except end game content which is the serious content that does not wish to include casual scrubs.

Yo xur ur a bitch but u sold me my ghorn so i still got love for you.
-
I'm actually with you on this Xur. I've been grouped with too many scrubs before and it just sucks! Not to mention people who have no mics...
-
Not sure if stupid, or just a troll.

Not sure if noob or just stupid.

Edited by BAOH76: 5/9/2015 12:17:03 AMwe are talking about optional matchmaking. you can switch off and play with your group or random from lfg, so shut-up ok ?
-
Matchmaking is still stupid so shutup OK?
-
I am bob destroyer of evilvil !!!!!!!!!
-
If it's optional it really doesn't affect you at all.
-
Xur' just trolling you, bro.
-
Yes it does. It makes more people complain about more afkers.
-
Why you crying over something that will in no way effect you at all. Optional matchmaking should have been available across the board on day one. Optional means you don't have to use it. Understand or are you completely incompetent. My guess is your a troller who likes to argue just for the sake of arguing. If so, that is just sad.
-
Unless it is truly optional, matchmaking is stupid.
-
Agreed. They screwed up the weekly heroic by making MM mandatory instead of optional. Optional is the only way to go.
Paired up with noobs
you maybe new to this but theres this great thing some devs can do with MM and its where they rate players using statical averages and attempts to match people accordingly so people get paired up with other players of roughly the same skill level
Paired up with players with terrible weapons and gear /Paired up with under levelled players
these 2 are basically the same thing as your gear is your level but MM people according to level only going 1 over/under is even simpler than MM according to skill
Paired up with afkers
jeez I wonder why there are so many afkers in a game about grinding and where rewards are dished out on completion of group activities regardless of the skill and effort of individual players only once bungie stops supporting Afkers will they disappear
Matchmaking is added in every activities except end game content which is the serious content that does not wish to include casual scrubs
so where is my daily story MM? or is replaying missions to complex? plus raids are not that complex it might require just slightly more co-ordination than mass effect 3 multiplayer only difference? mass effect 3 multiplayer uses a MM/lobby system which eliminates most MM concerns and they let people easily talk to each other

Edited by TEC Crissspy: 5/9/2015 3:08:05 AM1. There is no statistics about people's individual play in game, so how are they going to implement something they don't use in matchmaking? 2. Another terrible idea, people can buy gear at the tower that requires ZERO skill to obtain and will be one level below max. When HoW drops, anyone can be max level. Level does NOT determine skill. 3. They don't support AFKers, there is just no way to control it. It will always be here. 4. Raids ARE complex and difficult. If they weren't, more people would do them and everyone would be max level. Have you even played a raid? Try explaining it start to finish to a noob and it not being complex.

1: yeah good point but thats not a problem inherent with MM thats just bungie using worse MM in destiny than in halo 3 and should be well within there power to change 2: sorry should have been clearer light level does not equal skill I meant MM people of roughly equal levels and then within that also separately filter for skill its not fair making a level 32 carry a level 30, not fair making a level 30 carry a 28 and so on personally im not a fan of light levels at all since they dont take skill and an incredibly skilled 28 wont be as much help as an ok..ish 31 just cause of a number 3: AFKers have just as much chance to get equal reward and sometimes better rewards than those who play properly now I admit there isnt a simple fix since if you switch to skill based rewards only then some support role players would get screwed over but AFKers can easily skip alot of the grinding in destiny by just being AFK and watching the marks and RnG loot rain in...... 4: yep n ran with people fresh to raids main thing you need is mics VoG defend your cirlce with X til tower forms defend X side and your conflux shoot glowy lights shoot glowy lights and when we say shoot the boss just follow us and do as we do kill GT now gets abit more complex/long winded as it depends if they are staying outside, going in holding relic but if you know what role not too difficult to explain but main thing you need is mics if theres no mic requirement or way to do a mic check before starting then it would be doomed to failure 9 out of 10 times

I'm just saying, I would rather make a team than be given one for obvious reasons.
the God awful scrubs pulling me down
-
If you are that bad to need matchmaking in a daily story mission you don't even deserve to talk to me.
-
personally I dont really care that much about daily story MM but you said MM is added to every activity except endgame n thats just not true n lol just seen your other comments "MM is stupid nuff said" is basically what you seem to be repeating as if every online game since halo 2 has had it wrong and at last bungie is doing away with the plague of MM which they helped create
