"The Taken King" Fallen Raid?
So I'm sure you have all heard about the name The Taken King being trademarked by Bungie. Now everyone is speculating that it will be the comet DLC.
I believe it will be the raid for the Fallen. It only makes sense considering there is a fallen house know as the House of Kings.
If I am completely wrong I apologise lol just throwing the idea out there.
Edit: I am aware their is a hive-like logo and writing. This was just speculation.
Edit2: "The Taken King" what a terrible name to sell off. Plus it also sounds like a raid name more than an expansion. I guess we'll see. I'm likely wrong.

1 ReplyGiven that it has alot of missions and strikes, I'm sure the Fallen (and other races) will be involved, but the Raid I'm almost certain will be based on the Hive. The logo is Hive-influenced, and Destiny has been datamined for a new location called "Hive Ship." Yeah, it sucks, since it means we might end up without a Fallen raid (Vex Void and Forge of Gods follow, then Destiny 2 will come out, so we'll have 2 Vex, 2 Hive, and a Cabal Raid, but no Fallen, assuming there really is a Raid in each DLC from now on...). Hopefully, they get the attention they deserve in Destiny 2.

Well in that one mission where you descend into the hell mouth the fallen are fighting the hive. If we go with your theory then that makes me think they are there to rescue him or to get intel on where he is being held, all I'm saying is I can see that angle...

8 RepliesSorry but not even close, remember that the fallen are scavengers and apply groups in house so their is no king or queen. The highest ranking fallen are the high serviers and the priests.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be something based around the Hive based on More Consoles thoughts and how the symbol looks a lot like a Hive symbol.

I really hope that's what it is, or that it's just the name of the raid in comet, because I like the name "plague of darkness" much more for an expansion than "the taken king"
