I was half asleep when I first read the news, so I was sure I must have misunderstood. The words on the small screen in my hand said, “…Its about Cracky" I sat up and looked at the phone again, trying to make sense of it. I couldn’t. Tuesday morning, I learned that we lost Cracky to a heart-attack the day prior while he was at work. Like many of us here, we’ve never had the chance to met each other in person and Destiny was the bridge for introduction and friendship. Cracky became an unlikely part of our almost everyday life. We learned about his family, his interests, his intensity and that unmistakable “gawd dammit!”. A true friend to all and always willing to help anyone out. Destiny was perfect for him, and he was perfect for us, even willing to sit in the corner and shoot the wall every once in a while. He will be greatly missed as both a clan mate and friend. Congratulations on being first to reach the highest light level and to set that checkpoint in the sky, we will remember you with every Gjallarhorn drop as tribute of just how rare and special a person you were. Safe travels Guardian.

Damn man I'm sorry to hear that, it's a good thing when you realise how something such as gaming can bring people together and form friendships like this. Genuinely sorry to hear that.
