This is what the weekly update said.
"That’s not the last video we’ll invite you to watch this week. Tomorrow, you’ll want to keep an eye on Bungie.net, or any of our off-world social outposts. There are more secrets from the Reef to share."
They were hinting that there would be another video they would share today. I'm pretty sure it's just the new trailer.

Today's video or reveal will contain secret(s) we haven't been informed about yet, is what this says. I mean they've had us looking toward this secret date for a month now, if we get a trailer that just summarizes what we already know that's just another bad PR move on their part.

I don't disagree with you. I'm really hoping something else is coming. If not, that was a really really stupid PR move. They should know that nobody cares about a trailer that doesn't give any new information.
