Become legend my arse!
I'm a level 30 Warlock and a public event just spawned on earth where I had to eliminate a Level 5 Reaver Captain target. Why the hell did this Level 5 enemy have more god damn health than Atheon and Crota combined?! Become legend my arse.

Well you do know that there is a cap on how much damage you can deal to enemies. Like 1 Ghorn rocket will do less to him than a level 32 knight

Because you used the wrong weapons and/or didn't keep the damage consistent enough.

Pop em w/ my judgment vi till the shields drop then bust out my giggity and put a couple rockets in their asses, but you are correct, sometimes those events glitch out and they never want to die or the shields come back before you can even reload.

could have been a glitched event. sometimes they spawn and have an unreal amount of health or shields. same with randal the vandal and mike the knight in the forgotten shore. sometimes the game spawns them with way way to much health/shields

Lol. I killed that guy all the time as a level 4. I killed a close sword of CROTA and -blam!- him with the sword. Git gud.
