So I run defender almost exclusively (Titan for Life!), and I absolutely adore the Ward of Dawn. The thing can take all but the most intense beatings. Grenades, snipers, bosses, you name it. Nothing gets through. I have even seen my ward take multiple hits from a Fallen walker tank's main gun without failing. In PVP, even the supers of other guardians won't penetrate it. Except, for some reason, the voidwalker's Nova Bomb.
For some reason the nova bomb will ignore the ward entirely and kill anyone and everyone in the vicinity, just as if it wasn't there at all.
The nova bomb does not destroy the bubble and then consume its occupants with super cancer or any other lingering AOE. In fact, in some cases the ward is not destroyed at all (until after I get bombed to guardian heaven). I just get leveled by the nova bomb while inside my "indestructible shield of void light". I just stare, dumbfounded at my ghost floating in my still-present purple bubble of failure.
I can't imagine why the nova bomb would be the one exception able to penetrate the ward. It doesn't have any ability to go through walls that I am aware of. It certainly seems to be a glitch that needs to be patched, unless there is a legitimate reason why the nova bomb behaves differently from every other AOE heavy blast in the game.

It takes a certain amount of damage to get destroyed. Read the perks. Also, golden gun destroys it in 2 hits. Every class has a way to get around your bubble crap
